… Appoints Coordinators for Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo LGAs
The APC candidate in the 2023 NASS elections and member representing Okigwe South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor has appointed Barr. Chidi Okechukwu and Barr. Uche Konkwo as his campaign coordinators for Ehime-Mbano and Ihitte-Uboma LGAs, respectively.
This appointment was announced on Tuesday 27th September 2022, during a meeting of his enlarged campaign Council for Ehime-Mbano and Ihitte-Uboma stalwarts.
Incidentally, both are Sole Administrators and Chief Executives of the two LGAs.
It will be recalled that Hon. Chike Okafor had on Saturday 24th September 2022, held a similar meeting with his Obowo LGA campaign council during which he appointed the following to lead the Obowo campaign council:
Dr. Ray Emerenini
Coordinator for Obowo
Director of Organisation: Fidelis Ukaegbu
Western Obowo- Chief C.Y Chukwu
Eastern Obowo- Dr. Eli Dibia
Central Obowo: Dr. Godrick Anosike (former commissioner for Health Imo State and former LGA Chairman).
In the separate meetings, Hon. Chike Okafor, among other speakers charged the campaign council to go all out, with the message of his achievements so far and prospects for more, when he returns in 2023.
Hon. Chike Okafor, to his credit, donated over 100 transformers to various communities in the three LGAs and also energised and installed them, in order to light up these communities, some of whom had never seen light before his arrival at the scene. He also organised annual medical outreaches during which thousands of surgery cases were identified and operated on. He has been paying WAEC and JAMB registration fees for Secondary School students across the three LGAs in the past 8 years and as well built so many health centre and so many classroom blocks across the three LGAs, just to mention a few. Hon. Chike Okafor embarked on EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM for women and Youths and also assisted so many youths to get employment in Federal agencies and institutions like CBN, NAFDAC, FMC, Teaching Hospitals, Polytechnics and more.
The campaign council meetings had House of Assembly members past and present, commissioners past and present, State Government appointees, community leaders as well representatives the Imo North Senatorial Candidate Hon. Patrick Ndubueze in attendance.
Chike Okafor has the support of the people of Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency to represent them again, in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, to the Glory of God and the benefit of humanity.
