Hon. Deacon Chike John Okafor, PhD, Advocates for Solutions to Malnutrition and Food Scarcity in Nigeria at Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris

Hon. Deacon Chike John Okafor, PhD, member representing Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, and Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Chairman House Committee on Nutrition and Food Security, has taken Nigeria’s malnutrition and food security challenges to the global stage at the ongoing Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris.
Speaking at the high-level international summit, Hon. Okafor emphasized the urgent need for sustainable interventions to combat malnutrition and food scarcity in Nigeria, calling for increased collaboration between the Nigerian government, international donors, and development partners.
A release by the Senior Legislative Aide to the Reps member, Okonkwo Vitus Okonkwo, says, during his participation, Hon. Okafor is scheduled to engage in strategic discussions with the United Kingdom House of Commons Chairman on Nutrition and Food Security, as well as representatives from leading international donor agencies, to explore partnerships and funding opportunities aimed at improving Nigeria’s food systems and nutrition policies.
Hon. Okafor, renowned for his exceptional representation and commitment to grassroots development, reiterated his dedication to driving policies that enhance food security and improve the well-being of his constituents and Nigerians at large.
