Federal Poly Nekede Celebrates One Year of Transformational Leadership under Dr. Basilia Nkemdilim Igbokwe
The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, proudly marks the one-year anniversary in office of its _9th substantive Rector_ ,*Dr (Mrs.). Basilia Nkemdilim Igbokwe,* who assumed duty on *September 10, 2024,* and was officially presented to the Polytechnic Community on *September 24, 2024.*
Widely celebrated as the “ _Rector of Grace_ ” and the _“Digitalized Rector,”_ Dr. Igbokwe has, within just one year, infused the institution with renewed excellence, digital innovation, and people centered leadership. Her remarkable strides in academic advancement, infrastructural renewal, and staff/student welfare are already repositioning Federal Polytechnic Nekede as the true _“First Among Equals”_ in Nigeria’s Polytechnic education system.
