Naswden President Luke Ogbu Pays A Courtesy Visit To The Asagba Of Asaba

The National President of the National Association of Scrap and Waste Dealers Employers of Nigeria -NASWDEN, Comr. Engr. Pst. Luke Uchechukwu Ogbu, has led a Super Delegation on a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Asagba Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, SAN, OON, FINALS, FICMIC, LLD (HC), KSJI, KSG, The Asagba of Asaba.

Delivering his goodwill messages on behalf of the union, to the traditional ruler and his people, Comr. Ogbu thanked the Asagba for what he described as a warmth reception, upon his arrival to the palace with his team. He informed that the reason for their visit, was to update the throne on the outcome of their recent state congress held in Asaba, where the new Delta State Excos of the union were inaugurated.

A release by Obinna Kesta Anum, aide, to the NASWDEN National President, on Media and Publicity, says, the NASWDEN National president also sought the support of the king, as the Operation Say No To Vandals task force, which was also inaugurated in the state, kick off their operations. He explained that without the support of the locals, the union can not make any headway in ensuring that criminal elements does not succeed in the vandalism of both state and national assets, while disguising as scrap dealers.

In his remarks, HRH, Asagba Prof. Epiphany Chigbogu Azinge, the Asagba of Asaba assured the union of his support and willingness to provide them with every necessary assistance required to achieve their aims. He extended his blessings from the throne and wished the union well in their endeavors.
