
Chief Onyedebelu Bids Farewell To Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo As ISOPADEC Holds Valedictory Session

The Managing Director of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), Chief Austin Onyedebelu, has paid glowing tribute to the late Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo, during a valedictory session held at the ISOPADEC Complex, who will be laid to rest on 6 January 2026.
MD ISOPADEC, Chief Onyedebelu offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo and prayed for strength and fortitude for his family, friends, and loved ones to bear the irreparable loss.
Hon. Nzeruo served as a board member representing Oru East from October 2020 to October 2024, following his appointment by the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
As Chairman of the Committee on Health at ISOPADEC, Hon. Nzeruo played a pivotal role in the construction of 20-bed hospitals across Oru East, Oguta, and Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Areas, in alignment with the development vision of the state government.
The valedictory session was held in keeping with ISOPADEC’s longstanding tradition of honouring board members who have rendered distinguished service to the Commission.
Present at the session were, the immediate family including his wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Nzeruo and children, the Burial committee chairman, Sir White Egbuladike Izuawuba, Hon. Dr. Ikechukwu Ekeh, Hon. Godson Chike Ukachukwu , Oru-East Vice Chairman, Hon. Casmir Ogbenna Mr. Uche Nwoke, Francis Ndimkoha, among others.
Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo is slated for burial on 6th January 2026, in his Home town, Awo-Omamma, Oru-East, Imo State.
