Hon. Chike Okafor Condoles Enyioha Chris Anyanwu on Mother’s Demise
The member representing Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma, Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, PhD, on Wednesday 7th January 2026, joined thousands of Friends and Associates, at Umuezie, Nguru, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, to pay last respect to Late Mrs Ezinne Juliana Chinyere Anyanwu.
The departed matriarch, whose first son, Enyioha Chris Anyanwu, was among the third Generation of Imo State University Owerri graduates, and former National President of Imo State University Alumni Association, is a jolly good fellow, for whom people gathered, from all walks of life.
Ezinne Juliana Chinyere Anyanwu was a devoted Christian and community leader, who lived an eventful 82 years and touched many lives, through her motherly disposition.
Hon. Chike Okafor who had on 6th January 2026, joined the family, for the Christian service of songs, which lasted till far into night, also attended the funeral service, owing to his long standing friendship with Enyioha Chris Anyanwu, which dates back to their days at the prestigious Imo State University Owerri.
Hon. Okafor prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed matriarch, for the fortitude of the family, to bear the irreparable loss.
Ezinne Juliana Chinyere Anyanwu has since been laid to rest, after the Funeral Mass, on 7th January 2026.
