Chief Austin Onyedebelu Flags-off Renovation Of General Hospital Awo-Omamma

The Managing Director of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), Chief Austin Onyedebelu, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, officially flagged off the renovation of the long-abandoned General Hospital in Awo-Omamma, Ofekata III.

Speaking at the event, Chief Onyedebelu commended the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for his commitment to the development of oil-producing communities across the state. He particularly lauded the Governor’s dedication to improving the welfare of the people of Awo-Omamma.

He urged residents to sustain their support for the Uzodimma administration, noting that continued collaboration with the government would attract more developmental projects to the area.

The event was graciously hosted by the revered traditional ruler of Ofekatta 3 of Awo-Omamma, HRM Eze Stan Onyedebelu, who commended the works of Governor Uzodimma and assured him of the community’s continued support to his administration.

Other community stakeholders expressed appreciation to the Governor for his ongoing efforts in transforming Awo-Omamma. They also congratulated Chief Onyedebelu on his emergence as the APC State Chairman in Imo State, pledging their continued support for both the Governor and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
