As Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo hails the Governor’s giant strides
The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has commissioned yet another ultra-modern hospital in Omuma.
The brand-new and well-equipped hospital named “Michael Uzodimma Memorial Hospital is located at Omuma, the headquarters of the Oru East local government area.
Speaking at the commissioning event, Governor Uzodimma disclosed that the services being offered by the hospital are world-class.
“I want our people to be healthy; the body system is like a vehicle; if you don’t service your vehicle it will break down, and if you service your vehicle, it will move”.
While handing the key to a brand new Ambulance, the Governor disclosed that the “Michael Uzodimma Memorial Hospital, Omuma” will be managed by the Catholic Diocese of Orlu.
It will be recalled that the hospital located at Umuokanne in Ohaji Egbema, and the one at Oguta had both the Anglican and Catholic Communion as strategic managers and partners with the state government.
Earlier speaking, the Chairman of the board of ISOPADEC, Eze Professor Dele Amuzienwa Odigbo showered encomium on the Governor for his wisdom in the distribution of the collective wealth of the oil directives by building and equipping world-class hospitals in the 3 Oil producing regions.
He also reassured his support and that of his people for the reelection of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s second term bid.
On his part, Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo, the Oru-East commissioner in ISOPADEC hailed the giant strides of the Governor in areas of physical infrastructure and human capacity building. He stated that Gov. Hope Uzodimma has done so well, and Imo State deserves a continuity of four years under a courageous leader, in the person of the incumbent Governor and so Imo people should really round and ensure that he is re-elected without hassles.
