Encomiums, As Hon. Chike Okafor Concludes Training and Empowerment of Farmers in Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency
The annual training and Empowerment of Farmers by Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, PhD, has come to an end, with participants full of appreciation to the sponsor.
Recall that the Training of Farmers and Distribution of Selected High Yield Cassava Stem and high breed Palm Seedlings to Farmers in Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo LGA., is a programme powered by the member representing Okigwe South Federal Constituency, in the House of Representatives.
The two-day training saw hundreds participants, from the three Local Government Areas, being brought up to speed on international best practices in farming, by seasoned consultants and agencies of Federal Government.
At the end of the training, each participants got the palm seedlings, cassava stems, banana and plantain suckers, in good number, to go home with.
The beneficiaries showered encomiums on the legislator, for his thoughtfulness and effective representation which has been impactful and life changing.
They took turns to pray for Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor for his continued sustenance upward mobility.
The officials from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture expressed satisfaction at the success of the programme.
