
Peace Mass Boss, Maduka Onyishi Hits Big Deal in Leasing
Nigerian businessman Samuel Maduka Onyishi’s C&I Leasing has received shareholder approval to raise $20 million (N30 billion) through a mix of debt and equity to expand operations and refinance existing debt.
The Lagos-based leasing and business services company plans to issue a $10 million corporate bond alongside a $10 million equity raise.
Funds will also support the acquisition of a 71.15% stake in Ghana’s Leasafric Logistics Ltd and consolidate finance lease operations under C&I Finance Company Limited to improve efficiency.
C&I Leasing, which offers fleet management, logistics, and outsourcing services, has steadily grown since its founding in 1990. Under Onyishi, also founder of Peace Mass Transit, the company is pursuing regional expansion across Ghana and West Africa.
