I WILL CONTINUE TO CREATE AN ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE ELECTIONS TO THRIVE  – Gov. UZODIMMA

The Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has assured Ndi Imo of his continuous commitment to creating an enabling environment for the elections to thrive.

Governor Uzodimma stated this today at the Holy Eucharistic celebration at Government House Chapel, Owerri while speaking to congregants during the service.

He appealed to Ndi Imo to come out on Saturday, 11th March and exercise their franchise without fear of molestation or intimidation.

He encouraged Ndi Imo to avail the opportunity of the election to ensure that credible persons who will easily connect the State to the National grid are elected for the continuous development of the State.

According to the Governor, “as we prepare for the State Assembly Elections across the nation, I admonished Ndi Imo to be more realistic than sentimental in our approach to national politics and by extension, elections”.

The Governor, however, congratulated those who emerged victorious in their different federal Constituencies and prayed for God’s intervention in the cases of inconclusive elections.
