Rotary Club Honours Imo Commissioner Sir Ifeanyi Oruh
The Rotary Club of Ikenegbu, today, at Arizona Hotel, deemed it meritorious to bestow, on Hon. Chief Sir Ifeanyi D. Oruh, JP, Commissioner for Rural Development an award of excellence, for his inumerable service for mankind.
The award was presented by no less a person than the District Governor -Elect, Rtrn. Kelechi Anyanwu, who harped on the bridge building capacity of Hon. Oruh.
Numerous friends, political allies and associates were on hand to celebrate him and with him, on reception of the award, including but not limited to Hon. chiagozie Nwaneri, Chief whip Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Nkenna Nzeruo (Ikukuoma), Commissioner in ISOPADEC, Hon. Nyerere Ogbonna former IMC Chairman, Hon. Eric Uwakwe, Special Adviser, Youth Mobilization to the Imo State Governor, Hon. Nnamdi Onyeaka, former Oru-East Sole Administrator, other Serving and former Local Government Sole Administrators, Leadership of Directors of Administration, Treasurers and NULGE, in Imo State, and others too numerous to mention.
Others include, Chief Godfrey Okonkwo, Chief Donatus Orobe (Sariki), Hon Engr Ikenna Adikibe (Imo State ALGON Chairman) and serving Solads, Hon Prince Marcel Amadioha, Hon. Engr Frank Onyejiaka and other fomer Solads, Dr Chidi Okere ( Chairman of Imo State DAGS Forum) and his members, Dr. Nick Obinatu (Chairman of Imo State Treasurers Forum) and his members, Comrd. Okey Charles Okere (State NULGE President) and his members amongst other dignitaries.
