
Imo APC SEC Passes Vote Of Confidence On Gov Uzodimma, State Chairman, Onyedebelu
POSTPONES STATEWIDE POST -PRIMARY TOUR
The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, has passed a vote of absolute confidence in the leadership of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, for the very impactful leadership he has provided to both the Party and the State. The SEC, which is the principal organ responsible for the Party’s operations at the State level also assured the governor of their unflinching loyalty and support for his programs.
In the Sam vein, the Party organ also passed a vote of confidence on the State Chairman of the Party, Chief Austin Onyedebelu, and the State Working Committee, crediting his visionary and transparent leadership for the harmony and peace within the Party since his election.
Moving the motion for a vote of confidence to be passed on the governor, Hon. Samuelson Emehibe, the representative of Special Citizens in the Party executive said that the governor has provided efficient support to the Party all through the primaries by allowing all Party organs to function properly, and also, praised the State Chairman, Chief Austin Onyedebelu, for running the Party efficiently, transparently and democratically. He made particular reference to the successful and non-rancorous conclusion of the Party’s primaries, as unmistakable evidence of the governor’s and State Chairman’s democratic credentials and sterling leadership.
The meeting which was presided over by the Deputy State Chairman of the Party, Architect Allen Enwerem was convened to take stock of the Party’s primary election which has been concluded with the upload of the Party’s standard bearers on the INEC nomination portal.
Briefing journalists after the State Executive Committee meeting of the Party at its Okigwe road Secretariat, the Party’s spokesman, Dr. Onwuasoanya FCC Jones, said that the outcome of the meeting proves beyond every reasonable doubt that the Party in the State is on one page and that its leadership is capable and transparent. He also announced the postponement of the Statewide postprimary tour which was originally scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 14th of July.
“The Party’s SEC has taken a decision to put the tour on hold and a new date will be communicated in due course.” He stated.
