
Former IMSU Alumni President, High Chief Chris Anyanwu, Loses Mother
The former National President of the Imo State University Alumni Association, High Chief Enyioha Chris Anyanwu, has lost his beloved mother, Ezinne Juliana Chinyere Anyanwu (nee Onuoha), marking the end of an era for a woman whose life embodied faith, hard work, and selfless service.
A native of Umuezie Autonomous Community, in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, Ezinne Anyanwu was widely respected in her community as a devoted Christian mother, a strong pillar of support to her family, and a beacon of hope and guidance to many who crossed her path.
Known for her deep commitment to God and humanity, she combined humility with remarkable strength and industry, inspiring generations with her exemplary life.
Beyond her family, Ezinne Juliana was a community leader who played pivotal roles in fostering unity, supporting local initiatives, and mentoring younger women. Her legacy of compassion, integrity, and resilience remains deeply etched in the hearts of all who knew her.

High Chief Enyioha Chris Anyanwu, a notable figure in Nigeria’s renewable energy sector and Chief Executive Officer of Diversified Richfields Ltd, described his late mother as “a virtuous woman whose prayers and wisdom shaped everything I am today.”
She’s survived by six children, grandchildren, siblings and a host of relations.
