Full Text: Speech By The Imo State APC Chairman To APC Members And Imo Indigenes Residing In The Diaspora Especially The United Kingdom During A Virtual Meeting On July 23, 2026
Distinguished leaders and members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC ID), esteemed Imo sons and daughters residing in the United Kingdom, ladies and gentlemen,
I bring you warm greetings from His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (CON), the leadership of our great party in the state, and the good people of Imo State.
It gives me immense pleasure to address this distinguished gathering of patriotic Nigerians and proud Imo indigenes who continue to make remarkable contributions to the development of our nation while excelling in your various professions and endeavors abroad.
Permit me to express our profound appreciation for your unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress and your continued commitment to the progress of Imo State and Nigeria. Thank you for your monthly financial contributions to the party in imo.Though you reside thousands of miles away, your hearts remain firmly connected to your homeland. Your investments, remittances, advocacy, and support for your families and communities have continued to strengthen our economy and inspire hope among our people.
The APC recognizes that the Nigerian diaspora is not merely a community living abroad; you are strategic partners in nation-building. Your knowledge, global exposure, professional expertise, and influence are invaluable assets that can help shape a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
As we look ahead to the 2027 general elections, we must remain united, focused, and committed to consolidating the gains recorded under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His administration has undertaken difficult but necessary reforms aimed at repositioning our economy, strengthening infrastructure, expanding opportunities for investment, enhancing national security, and laying the foundation for sustainable prosperity. While the journey has required sacrifice, the objective remains to build a resilient economy that will serve both present and future generations.
The task before us is therefore clear. I respectfully call on every APC member and every patriotic Imo son and daughter in the United Kingdom to continue serving as ambassadors of truth, progress, and unity. Let us engage constructively with fellow Nigerians, support the ideals of our great party, and mobilize our networks, families, and communities towards ensuring the successful re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Your voice matters. Your influence matters. Your support matters. Whether through advocacy, policy engagement, investment, community mobilization, or promoting factual information about the achievements of our government, your contributions will play an important role in strengthening our democracy and advancing our shared vision for Nigeria.
Let us also continue to support the leadership and developmental agenda in Imo State, working together to attract greater investment, create opportunities for our youth, and showcase the immense potential of our state to the global community.
