- SAYS OWERRI /UMUAHIA ROAD WOULDN’T BE DESTROYED BY ACIDIC RAIN AS WITNESSED IN THE PAST
Gov. Hope Uzodimma has reassured the people of Imo State of his administration’s readiness to build quality road infrastructures in the State.
He explained that deficit in critical infrastructures, occasioned by long neglect by successive administrations, inspired his administration in the last two years to embark on massive infrastructural developments across the State inspite of the dwindling economy.
At the Flag-off of the 46 kilometer Owerri/ Umuahia Road dual carriage way, Gov. Hope Uzodimma expressed optimism that, the road when completed will stand the test of time.
The Owerri/Umuahia dual carriage road cuts across over five Local Government Areas of the State, including, Owerri Municipal, Owerri North, Ahiazu Mbaise, Aboh Mbaise and Obowo LGAs.
