
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday said that the Vehicle Assembly Plant in Ogba area of the state will become operational by end of the year.

He said this during an inspection of the facility, 17 months after the State Government signed an agreement with CIG motors.

Sanwo-Olu in a post on his Facebook page, said, the plant is expected to produce different classes of brand new cars.

“This automobile assembly plant when completed, would create employment for local skilled workers,” he added.
