The member representing Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Hon. Chike Okafor, though a participant, as a member of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance and owing to his background as a quintessential banker, with a first degree Economics, a Masters in Business administration and a Doctorate Degree in a related field and as well, a former commissioner for finance in Imo State, he doubles as a resource person, in the 3 day Annual Finance Stakeholders’s round-table which started on Friday 26th and runs to Sunday 28th May 2023 in Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The roundtable usually put together by the House of Representatives Committee on Finance has attendees who usually drawn from the Federal Ministry of Finance such revenue generating agencies under it like the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Customs, etc,
It is believed that the Stakeholders roundtable is a conscious effort by the House of Representatives to ensure a hitch free take off and smooth running of the next administration, especially as Hon.
