Brig. Gen. Anthony Maimagani, a Catholic priest, has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army.
He is the Director of Chaplain Services (Roman Catholic) of the Nigerian Army, Very Rev. Fr Brig. Gen. Anthony Maimagani.
Until this news, little or nothing is said about Catholic Priests working in the military in Nigeria, little wonder the excitement over this discovery.
