Senator Kalu Hails OUK Movement’s Bende LGA Chapter, Reaffirms Commitment to Grassroots Development

The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatization, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed deep satisfaction following extensive grassroots engagement by the State Executive Committee of the OUK Movement in Bende Local Government Area.

Receiving the reports of the committee’s visit on Saturday, the former Abia State Governor commended the unwavering commitment, unity, and enthusiasm demonstrated by members of the OUK Movement at the local chapter. He noted that the ongoing statewide consultations are vital to solidifying structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a terse statement obtained by 9japarrot media, Senator Kalu said;

“Today, I was delighted to receive reports from the State Executive Committee of the OUK Movement following their visit to our Bende Local Government Area chapter as part of our ongoing grassroots engagement across Abia State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“I am deeply encouraged by the commitment, unity, and enthusiasm of our members, as well as their sincere contributions on pressing issues affecting our communities. I appreciate their confidence in our shared vision and their thoughtful suggestions during these engagements.” He added .

The lawmaker emphasized that his drive to bring sustainable development to Abia North remains non-negotiable, stating that legislative and community-driven initiatives will continue to be a priority.

“I sincerely thank all members of the OUK Movement in Bende LGA for their steadfast support and dedication. Together, we will continue to strengthen our structures and build a brighter future for Abia North and our great state.” the statement added.
