Nigeria At 66: A Celebration Of Unity, Hope And Renewed Patriotism –
Today, as we commemorate the 66th Independence Anniversary of our dear nation, Nigeria, I join millions of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora in celebrating our journey as a sovereign nation.
Sixty-six years after independence, our story remains one of resilience, courage, diversity and an enduring belief in the Nigerian project. Our nation has faced difficult moments, but through them all, the Nigerian spirit has remained strong.
On behalf of the leadership and entire membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, I warmly congratulate our indefatigable leader, His Excellency, the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State, on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
Your Excellency, your administration’s commitment to the development of Imo State and your unwavering support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, continue to demonstrate your dedication to the progress of our dear state and nation.
I also commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to the ongoing task of national renewal and urge Nigerians to remain hopeful and constructive as we work together to build a stronger and more prosperous country. The Federal Government has described Nigeria’s present journey as one of reconstruction and renewal, while emphasising unity and opportunity for all citizens.
As the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, I reaffirm my commitment to the ideals of unity, progress, inclusive development and democratic governance. We must continue to strengthen the bonds that unite us as Nigerians, while creating opportunities for our young people and supporting policies that promote economic growth and prosperity.
Let us honour the sacrifices of our founding fathers and women by renewing our commitment to Nigeria. Let us reject division, embrace one another, and continue to believe in the limitless possibilities of our great nation.
