About 111 years ago, one of the most famous ship sank. The name of that ship was Titanic. Some years ago, scientists were able to find the exact location where the remains of the ship rested on the ocean bed.
Curious scientists began exploring ways to visit and explore the remains of the famous ship which has a story that has been adapted into movies and books.
A deep water exploration company called OceanGate had this submersible vessel built to take explorers down down there (second photo is a picture of the submersible vessel)

5 men were inside the submersible vessel when it lost contact with its main ship that has a control.
The submersible vessel can only be opened and closed from outside.
On that fateful day the vessel went missing, it lost contact with the main ship after 1hour, 30 minutes of descent. It takes about 3 hours to travel from the surface of the ocean to where the Titanic lies btw. A search and rescue effort was organised by the US Coast Guard (fifth photo)
They were joined by the Canadian navy and British airforce including some French vessels.
A debris was found reportedly to be that of the vessel. Some people suggested that the vessel exploded as it made its descent down.

It’s a saddening end to a story that caught the world by storm.Peace and comfort to the families of the victims.
The explosion was from inside(implosion) because of the oceans pressure that the carbon fiber materials of the sub couldn’t handle. Like they got totally compressed to d£ath at a certain depth of the ocean. More like squeezing an empty can of coca cola with all your strength.
