Owerri Club Suspends Inauguration of Patrons and Induction of New Members

The Management of Owerri Club has bowed to the wishes of the Registered Trustees of the Club that ordered the suspension of the planned program on Monday 14th April, 2025 due to non compliance to the rules guiding admission of members, amongst other infractions.
The Social/Publicity Secretary of Owerri Club, Hon. Ik Ogbonna made this known to newsmen in a press release.
In Owerri Club, we believe in due process and respect for constituted authority especially bearing security reports of threat of violence. The program stands suspended till further notice Ogbonna said.
