
Isopadec MD Reaffirms Governor Uzodimma’s Commitment To Educational Development
The Managing Director of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), Chief Austin Onyedebelu, has restated the unwavering commitment of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration to the advancement of education in the state.

Speaking as a guest of honor at the 2024/2025 graduation ceremony of Bright to Blossom International School, Chief Onyedebelu revealed that construction is actively ongoing at 24 school sites inherited from previous administrations, with strict directives to ensure their swift completion.

He further disclosed that ISOPADEC has awarded contracts for an additional 19 brand-new school building projects, bringing the total number of educational facilities currently under construction to 43. He added that the commission has also distributed modern learning aids to primary schools across oil-producing areas, aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
According to him, these efforts underscore the government’s resolve to provide improved learning environments and expand access to quality education for Imo children.
Chief Onyedebelu concluded by assuring stakeholders that the Uzodimma-led administration remains dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy in the education sector, with projects designed to empower future generations and drive socio-economic development in Imo State.
