Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is a seasoned Nigerian politician with a storied career spanning over two decades. Born into political family with a politically enlightened mother, Kalu’s trajectory has been marked by significant milestones, including his tenure as member , House of Representatives, Governor of Abia State and his current role as Senator representing Abia North.
Kalu’s political journey began when he was elected as a member of the House of Representatives in 1992. During his tenure, he held key positions, including deputy chairman of the Finance and Internal Affairs Committees. He also moved the famous Dual-Citizenship Rights Bill in the House
