
Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo Meets Supporters in Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele, Njaba, Justifies Return to APC

Leaders and members of the OZB Support Group (OSG) across the four Local Government Areas of Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele and Njaba have reaffirmed their loyalty to Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo following his recent return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The engagement tour, which took place between March 6 and 7th, 2026, brought together leaders of the various OZB support structures as well as key figures within the OZB Support Group, creating a platform for direct engagement between Hon. Ozurigbo and his followers.
The sessions were largely interactive, with coordinators and members asking questions about the political development and the rationale behind his decision to return to the APC.
In his response, Ozurigbo urged his supporters to trust his judgment, assuring them that his decision was taken in the best interest of the people and the future of the zone.
He also clarified that his decision to contest any future election would be guided by the leadership of the state, particularly the Governor of Imo State, .
Ozurigbo used the opportunity to commend the governor for his efforts at repositioning the state, noting that the administration is working to place Imo on the right developmental path.
He further encouraged members of the OZB Support Group to join the APC and support the broader vision of strengthening the party and advancing development in the state.
At the end of the meetings across the four LGAs, members unanimously resolved to join Ozurigbo in the APC. They reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to him, declaring that their political direction remains firmly aligned with his leadership.
According to several coordinators, the support group remains united in its commitment, stressing that for them, “OZB remains the political platform that binds them together.”

Miriam Adaobi Ijeomah, Former T.C. Chairman of Nkwerre, Nze Gabe Anowai, Former T.C. Chairman of Njaba LGA, Chief Bon Nnaka, State Chairman, Chief Ike-Christo Ekwem, Barr. Tony Onuoha, Chief Val Osuala, Cmrd. Ukachukwu Anyaegbu, Barr. Dike Uche, I.G. Isu, Mr. Patrick Nwosu, Hon. Damian Ezeji, Hon. Chijioke Ihetu , Hon. Victor Orgazi , Cmrd. Emma Ahams , Chief Eugene Ohamara and a host of others too numerous to mention.
