It was an overwhelming jolly ambience on Saturday at the gathering of Imo State Stakeholders that cut across politicians, businessmen, clergy and traditional rulers in the Owerri City capital.
The meeting which was convened at the instance of Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, touched on sundry germane issues amongst which were security, recoveries, reconstructions , rehabilitations, Civil Service, Local Government elections, Economy , Education, Rule of law and ICT witnessed great endorsement for a job well done.
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (Engr.), a member of the PDP Board of Trustees, while speaking at the event, reminisced how he had unshakable belief on the capacity of Gov. Hope Uzodimma to make Imo people proud .
According to Chief Iwuanyanwu, the Shared Prosperity administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma has lived above expectations and endeared itself to the heart of Imo people.
Speaking further, Chief Iwuanyanwu said that Gov. Hope Uzodimma has lived true to his name, as roads in Imo have gotten serious attention.
Prof. Maurice Iwu took out time to appreciate the governor,
“If not for anything, I thank Gov. Hope Uzodimma for the efforts put in place that saw the graduation of our student doctors at Orlu who have spent more than the necessary required number of years to graduate due to accreditation issues, that alone has gone a long way in improving our health sector as more man power has been added to it.”
Other notable personalities who took turns to speak at the event eulogized the leadership style of Gov. Hope Uzodimma, saying Imo people are happy and proud of the administration of Gov Hope Uzodimma, urging him to remain focused.

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, has reiterated that his administration will recover all stolen properties of Imolites without favoritism.
He stated on Saturday during the Imo State Stakeholders meeting held at Eze Imo Palace Mbari, Owerri.
“As I recover Imo properties converted to personal ownership by those who had political power back to Imo people, the same awaits me when I leave office”.
Upon assumption of office on January 14, 2020, Governor Hope Uzodimma availed to Imolites that his administration would focus on three Cardinal areas, Recovery, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation and this he had shown seriousness in its implementation.
In the last couple of weeks, recoveries have been made on stolen lands, building and assets which hitherto were fraudulently converted to personal use by the past administrations.
According to Governor Hope Uzodimma, no stone would be left unturned in recovering the looted wealth of Imo State.
“This is why I want to reiterate before you that I did not become Governor to become richer than the State after my tenure, but to serve you in truth and with fear of God. This been so, I will leave no stone unturned in my efforts to recover all Imo people’s stolen wealth”.
