Participates in week long conference on The Role of Parliament in an Impactful Fiscal Regime for Socio-Economic Development

This time-tested fact which has been proved through his quality bills and motions as well as through various life-saving and people oriented programmes and projects manifested again, in far away United Kingdom, where he joined other legislators and members of the House committee on Finance led by Hon. James Faleke to participate in the week long conference on The Role of Parliament in an Impactful Fiscal Regime for Socio-Economic Development.
The programme with ran from 7th February through 12th February also had, among other Reps, two members of Southeast Caucus of the Green Chambers in attendance, including Princess Miriam Onuoha of Okigwe North Federal Constituency.
As a man who put in over a dozen of his youthful years in the banking sub-sector of the Nigeria economy, Hon. Chike Okafor, through his submissions and contributions left no one in doubt about his sagacity as far as Fiscal Regime is concerned.
The programme also saw the legislators interfacing with the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom ,His Excellency, Ambassador Sarafa Ishola, at the Nigerian House, London.
As a man who always thinks home, and believes that Politics is about using the office to attract development to the people, Hon. Chike Okafor quickly spotted an Imo son, Nduka Okeke, who is a senior staff in the Nigerian House, and quickly began to discuss possible areas of mutual cooperation, which will be beneficial to his constituents.
The programme came to an end, today, and Hon. Chike Okafor is elated for the huge potentials this outing harbours for the good people of Ehime-Mbano, Ihitte-Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency, Imo people and Nigerians in general.
