The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma has approved the appointed Ify Onyegbule as the substantive Director-General of the Imo Broadcasting Corporation, popularly called IBC.
The appointment is contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Oguwike Nwachuku, on Monday.
Ify is a member of the board of the Imo State Broadcasting Corporation, IBC since 2021 and this appointment is with immediate effect as she bring on this job, years of experience and professional competence in the broadcast industry, as both stations manager and General Manager of many radio stations of repute.
Ms Onyegbule, a strategic media and communications expert, is a graduate of Mass Communication from the Ogun State Polytechnic, had attended various courses, locally and internationally, which prepared her as an investigative reporter, social critic, publisher, author and activist.
