Gov. Hope Uzodimma Approves 50 Percent Scholarship For Students of UAES

The Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma has graciously approved a whooping 50 Percent Scholarship for Students in Faculty of Agriculture, at the University of Agriculture And Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo, Imo State.

This school fees slash was made known by the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Christopher C. Eze, on the occasion of the 2nd Matriculation ceremony of the institution, held on 14th April 2023, at the ceremonial pavilion of the school.

According to the Vice Chancellor, the scholarship is geared towards encouraging the return to Agriculture policy of the Imo State Government, led by His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma.

He urged the students to take advantage of the offer and dedicate themselves to their studies so as to graduate as entrepreneurs who would boost the Agricultural sector of the Nation’s economy.

Welcoming the 462 Matriculants into the Institution, the visitor to the University, Gov. Hope Uzodimma, ably represented by the State commissioner for Education, Prof. Johncliff Nwadike charged the Students to be good Ambassadors of their family and the University, while assuring them of their wellbeing and the resolve of the State Governor to ensure a State academic calendar through a conscious effort to meet needs of the University community.

The highpoint of the occasion was the administration of Matriculation oath to the freshmen, by Vice Chancellor, in company of the Registrar, Prince. Edward Njemanze.
