Re:The Inhuman Treatment “Melted” On The Good People Of Okigwe South Federal Constituency
A poorly scripted piece full of lies from the pit of hell.
The attention of the member representing the good people of Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Deacon Chike Okafor, Ph.D, has been drawn to a publication of falsehood by one agents of perdition who have refused to stop mourning their political misfortunes, and they now hide under pseudonyms to attempt to dent the glowing image of a Star legislator.
Among other faceless pen hackmen, they have a semi-literate one, who recently circulated his ignorance on various platforms, where he boldly wrote MELTED, probably in attempt to write METED. Hackmen should do better.
The pseudo writer who prides himself as the Senior Advocate of Nonsense, in his futile attempt to justify the peanuts he receives from his paymasters, claimed that Deacon Chike Okafor diverted major Federal Government job opportunities, meant for the constituents of Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency, amongst other accusations he levelled against him, in his malicious article.
It is shocking to discover that this pseudo writer who hails from Okigwe LGA, would stay in the discomfort of his home, to concoct unfounded stories against the progressive representation of Okigwe South Federal Constituency, ably led by Deacon Chike Okafor, in order to advance the political interests of his sponsors/paymasters.
Also, it is surprising to note that the infantile writer, and his partners in falsehood failed to highlight how Deacon Chike Okafor, used his good office, as a Federal Lawmaker, to attract innumerable employment opportunities to the good people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency, in terms of Federal Government job schemes.
While the faceless writer, and his jobless sponsors should cover their faces in shame, for failing to buttress their claims with cogent and verifiable facts, we urge the general public to discountenance their falsehood, and treat it as an attempt to discredit the visible representation of Deacon Chike Okafor.
It is on record that Okigwe South Federal Constituency under the representation of Deacon Okafor, has witnessed unprecedented developments, ranging from the construction of 1,000 Civic Pavilion named after Dee Sam Mbakwe at Obowo LGA Headquarters, Otoko, construction of 3KM Ama EDS/ Umuezeala Road, Obowo, donation and installation of 300KVA transformer at Umuezealama Autonomous Community, donation and installation of 300KVA transformer at Umuduruegwele Autonomous Community,
donation and installation of 300KVA transformer at Umualumaku Autonomous Community, donation of KVA transformer at Umuakagu Autonomous Community,
donation and installation of 300KVA transformer at Umuezeala Ezike Autonomous Community, and donation and installation of 300KVA transformer at Umuezeala Ogwara Autonomous Community etc.
He has equally built and renovated numerous schools in the Federal Constituency, including educational support for his Constituents Annual payment of WAEC and JAMB/UTME fees for over 9000 students drawn from various Secondary Schools across the 3 LGAs of Okigwe South Federal constituency. (Since 2015 till date).
Deacon Okafor also leveraged on his position as the House Committee Chairman on Healthcare Services, in the 8th Assembly, to construct, and furnish numerous Primary Health Care Centers and constructed several cottage hospitals in Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo LGAs, which are verifiable and still very much in use.
He equally facilitated the gainful employment of constituents into the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Federal Medical Center, Owerri, (FMC), Army, Nigerian Police, Navy, amongst other numerous empowerments/projects he brought to Okigwe South.
Even in the NAFDAC, it is on record that on one occasion Ndieze Okigwe South gathered at the Palace of Eze Emmanuel Ibechi of Umuakagu Nsu, Ehime Mbano where he personally handed out employment letters to not less than 16 employees to NAFDAC alone, and these were people all drawn from the constituency, and those people plus much more he added in subsequent years are still in that agency today.
Ndi Okigwe South know about their sons and daughters who are working in CBN, FIRS today courtesy of Chike Okafor, some of whom put resources together to purchase his nomination forms, in 2022, for this House of Reps seat he’s currently occupying.
Lest we forget, who is not aware of how, in 2016, Hon. Chike Okafor, leveraged on his close working relationship with the then Minister for Health, Prof Isaac Adewole to get our own Prof. Ndu Eke, from Umungwa, Obowo, appointed into the then FMC, Owerri as CMD, a position he held until he retired, or the case of Dr Amah from Amainyi, Ihitte Uboma who got and completed his second term as CMD of the prestigious UNTH, Enugu, despite initial opposition from other stakeholders in that notable health institution,.
Also, the numerous doctors and nurses he assisted to get employment in health facilities across the country have been responsible for his yearly medical/surgical outreaches.
No doubt, while we acknowledge the fact that there are still parts of our dear Federal Constituency that needs more attention, it is tentatively unrealistic for the whole challenges to be fixed in a swoop, as public leadership progresses in stages. It is also not fair to cast all burden on the shoulders of one man.
It may also interest the general public to verify about the State, Okigwe South Federal Constituency was, before Deacon Okafor took over the mandate of representation.
Of course, any sound mind would attest to the fact that our beloved Federal Constituency has witnessed substantial developments under the representation of Deacon Chike Okafor.
The morbid blackmailer further alleged that Deacon Okafor gives considerable discounts to members of his Christ Embassy Church, whose students attend Mountain Crest School, which he claimed Deacon Okafor owns.
For the purpose of clarity, a good number of students from Okigwe South, are great beneficiaries of this same discount, as well as undergoing different scholarship programs in the School and in other schools, as well.
Mountain Crest School was founded by his amiable wife, Deaconess Akudo Okafor, a professional educationist, long before Deacon Okafor was first elected into the Green Chambers of the National Assembly in 2015. This is evidenced in the fact that mountain crest had an elaborate graduation ceremony in 2016, which is not possible for a school supposedly founded after Deacon Chike Okafor got elected in 2015.
The pesudo writer equally claimed that Deacon Okafor refused to facilitate the construction of durable roads in Okigwe South Federal Constituency, but hurriedly constructed the roads that lead to his house in Owerri.
This is another falsehood that should be discarded by sound minds, as Deacon Okafor has facilitated the construction of avalanche of roads in Okigwe South, and has been applauded for achieving such feats.
Deacon Chike John Okafor, Ph.D is a complete definition of a proactive leader.
The good people of Okigwe South are happy with his performance in office, and would never join the train of fifth columnists in pouring maledictions on him.
