ISOPADEC MD, Chief Onyedebelu Hosts Ohaji/Egbema Youths As They Reaffirm Peace And Advocate For Development

The Managing Director of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), Chief Austin Onyedebelu received ISOPADEC YOUTHS, Ohaji/Egbema chapter in a significant meeting aimed at fostering peace and driving development in the region.

The meeting, held at the ISOPADEC headquarters, brought together youth leaders committed to ensuring stability and progress in the oil-rich area.

During the event, the youths reaffirmed their dedication to peace, emphasizing that unity is essential for sustainable development.

In his address, Chief Onyedebelu commended the youths for their commitment to fostering harmony in the communities. He reiterated ISOPADEC’s mission to improve the welfare of oil-producing communities through infrastructure projects, economic empowerment, and social development initiatives.

Addressing the youths, he stated that “We cannot achieve meaningful development in an atmosphere of crisis. Peace is the foundation upon which we can build a better future for our people.”

The President and leader of the group, Comrade
Ogbasi Chinagorom Justus, in turn, pledged their support for government-led administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma CON, while calling for increased investment in education, skill acquisition programs, and job creation to uplift the region’s young population.

He assured the management of ISOPADEC of the youths’ unwavering cooperation, emphasizing that violence and resistance would have no place in their approach.

The meeting concluded with a renewed resolve to strengthen collaboration between ISOPADEC and the youth groups, ensuring that development projects are effectively implemented to benefit the people of Ohaji/Egbema.
