Bayelsa West Apc Primary Demonstrates Party Strength Ahead Of General Elections – Lokpobiri

The Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri Ph.D, has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekeremor for the peaceful and orderly conduct of the party’s Senatorial Primary Election for the Bayelsa West Senatorial District, held through the Direct Primary Election process.

Speaking after observing the exercise, Senator Lokpobiri described the process as transparent, credible, and reflective of the unity and internal strength of the APC ahead of the forthcoming general elections. He noted that the impressive turnout of party faithful and electorates highlighted the growing confidence of the people in the progressive ideals of the party.

“The peaceful conduct of this primary election clearly demonstrates the maturity, discipline, and cohesion that exist within our great party,” the Minister stated.

Lokpobiri further applauded all aspirants for their commitment and sense of responsibility in seeking to serve the people under the APC platform. He also praised party members and stakeholders for maintaining decorum throughout the exercise.

“As we await the official announcement of results by the national leadership of our party, I urge all members to remain united and focused on the collective interest of our people,” he added.

The Minister reaffirmed his confidence in the APC’s continued capacity to provide purposeful leadership and deepen democratic governance across the country.
