… set to deliver project ahead of record time
I was just minding my business, over the weekend, hovering around the state when in Nwangele Local Government council Headquarters, I spotted this edifice, which I was sure never existed before now.
Upon inquiry, I was reliably informed, that this is the proposed Nwangele ICT centre project, being supervised by the member representing Nwangele State constituency and the Deputy Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo.
For the records, this is a constituency project agreed upon by members of the 8th Assembly of Imo State legislature, which is borne out of the ardent desire of the State to catch up with the current realities of the global world which is propelled by Information and Communications Technology.
It is on record, that while some Local Government Areas are still mobilising to site, the young and amiable legislator, popularly known as “Ozb”, has seen to it that the Nwangele project is already getting finishing touches, preparatory to the eventual completion of the project.
The advantages of an ICT centre in a hitherto rural and somewhat obscure but historical town of Amaigbo, Nwangele cannot be over emphasised as it will go a long way in Human capacity building in the present and future generations of Nwangele people.
