IMSUAA Increases Chapters: Anambra, Delta Join Brand; As Board, NEC Congratulate Newcomers
It is now official that Imo State University Alumni Association, IMSUAA consists of Ten (10) Chapters, following the inauguration of Anambra and Delta Chapters over the weekend.
A combined delegation of IMSUAA Board of Trustees, BoT, and the National Executive Committee NEC, arrived Awka on Saturday, 25th July, 2026 to swear-in Anambra Chapter.
Board Secretary, Dr. IK Ogbonna, represented the Board and the Chairman, Barr. Okey Ozumba, while NEC was led by the Deputy President, Onyekachi Oha, who represented the the President, Dr. Charles Nwosu.
The team stormed Asaba on Sunday, 26th July, 2026 and got the Delta Chapter inaugurated as well.
Both Anambra and Delta Executives were sworn -in by the NEC Legal Adviser, Barr. Ken Obisike.
Addressing the two new chapters during their separate inaugurations, Board Secretary, IK Ogbonna and the Deputy President, Onyekachi Oha took turns to educate them on what the Alumni stands for, which included oneness, with emphasis on zero sub-grouping or sentiments, giving back to the Alma Mater and camaraderie.
The Alumni leadership also charged the chapters to be selfless, and to commit their time, talent and treasure to the course, noting that they stand to benefit from many fronts.
While hailing them for their organization and resilience, the Alumni delegation felicitated with the chapter Executives on their successful inauguration.
