Saturday, July 25, 2026, will remain etched in the annals of academic triumph as the ancient citadel of learning, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), played host to another milestone of scholarly dedication. Amidst colourful academic regalia and joyful celebrations, Dr. Francis Udoka Ndimkoha was officially conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, during the institution’s 55th Convocation and marking a defining capstone in his pursuit of intellectual excellence.
A Journey Rooted in Intellectual Mastery
Dr. Ndimkoha’s academic trajectory reflects consistency and passion. Prior to achieving this highest academic distinction, he earned a Master’s Degree in English and Literary Studies from the same prestigious institution, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literary Studies from Imo State University.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Ndimkoha serves as a lecturer in the Department of Humanities, School of General Studies (SGS) at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, where he imparts knowledge in English Language and Communication. Beyond the lecture halls, he is widely recognized as an accomplished writer, astute reporter, and prominent blogger whose insightful commentary and sharp pen continue to inform and engage public discourse.
