
OZB Support Group Strengthens APC Mobilisation in Nkwerre LGA
In a renewed effort to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) and work towards securing victory for the party across the four local government areas of Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele and Njaba in the forthcoming election cycle, the leadership of the OZB Support Group led by Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo, has paid a courtesy visit to the leadership of Nkwerre Local Government Area.

The visit, which took place at the Nkwerre LGA Headquarters, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, provided an opportunity for the group to engage with the Council Chairman and members of his administration, while reaffirming its commitment to the growth and success of the APC across the constituency.
A key highlight of the visit was the opportunity it created for the leadership of the OZB Support Group in Nkwerre LGA to familiarize itself with the local government leadership and strengthen collaboration ahead of the coming elections.

The group also interacted with the Honourable Member representing the constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Thaddeus Ojukwu, as part of efforts to foster unity, cooperation and a coordinated political structure within the constituency.
Speaking on the purpose of the engagement, the leadership of the OZB Support Group reiterated its determination to contribute to a strong and united APC structure capable of delivering victory for the party in all contested positions across Nkwerre, Isu, Nwangele and Njaba.
Rt. Hon. Ozurigbo expressed appreciation to the Nkwerre LGA Chairman, Engr. Emmanuel Chiedozie Chukunyere, and the House of Assembly member, Hon. Barr. Thaddeus Ojukwu, for the warm reception and hospitality extended to the delegation.
Hon. Ozurigbo maintained that members of his group are ready to deliver all elective positions for the party at the coming elections.
The Council Chairman and House of Assembly member thanked OZB for the visit and promised to ensure that group is integrated into the campaign train and other activities in the LGA.
The engagement is expected to further strengthen relationships among party stakeholders and enhance grassroots mobilisation as the APC prepares for the forthcoming election cycle.
