Kalu Pledges More Development Projects for Abia North, Reaffirms Support for Tinubu

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering more development projects and legislative interventions for his constituents as the Senate resumes plenary following weeks of recess.

Kalu, a former Governor of Abia State, said he was returning to legislative activities “reinvigorated and fully committed” to his responsibilities after participating in the recent political party primaries during the break.

In a statement on Tuesday, the lawmaker assured the people of Abia North that he would continue to pursue programmes and initiatives aimed at improving their living conditions.

“As the Senate resumes today after weeks of recess, during which lawmakers participated in the primaries of their respective political parties, I return reinvigorated and fully committed to my legislative duties and responsibilities,” Kalu said.

He stressed that his focus would remain on projects and policies capable of delivering tangible benefits to the people of the district.

“My commitment to the people of Abia North remains unwavering. I will continue to pursue impactful interventions that will directly benefit my constituents, with a strong focus on infrastructure development, human capital development, and legislative initiatives that improve the lives of our people,” he stated.

The senator also reaffirmed his support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to work closely with the federal government in advancing policies aimed at national development.

According to him, he remains committed to collaborating with the President to promote programmes that will enhance the welfare of Nigerians and drive sustainable growth across the country.

“I also remain committed to working diligently with our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to support the administration’s objectives and contribute to policies and programmes that will advance national development and improve the welfare of all Nigerians,” Kalu added.

The Senate resumed plenary on Tuesday after its recess, with lawmakers expected to consider a range of legislative matters and national issues in the coming weeks.
