ACCEPTANCE OF APPOINTMENT AS SPECIAL ADVISER TO THE GOVERNOR/GENERAL MANAGER OF OCDA: SINCEREST GRATITUDE TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF IMO STATE DISTINGUISHED SENATOR HOPE UZODIMMA.
It is with deepest sense of humility and a great sense of duty that I accept the privilege and remarkable responsibility as the new SPECIAL ADVISER/GENERAL MANAGER OF OWERRI CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY bestowed on me by the Executive Governor of Imo State His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma. Thus, on behalf of my family, I Hon. Engr. Francis Chukwu wish to express my sincerest gratitude to His Excellency for the confidence reposed in me to serve in this capacity under the Shared Prosperity Government.
Your Excellency Sir, considering the sensitive nature and strategic position OCDA occupies in the state, I understand what this task entails and in this regard, I will put in my best in order to actualize your vision which is all geared towards leaving wonderful footprints in the sands of time in all ramifications.
To this end, we will adopt a sustainable action to augument the efforts already in place to improve on the areas of strength while also identifying and rejiging areas that need more attention to be able to have a much better face of OCDA
My pledge is that I will endeavour to justify everyday and in every act, the trust you have placed on me to carryout this sensitive assignment for the good people of Imo State and beyond. At all times, I will be strong in purpose, steadfast in will and action in service to be able to achieve the desired result.
Let me once again thank His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzondimma in a Special Way for not only his continued show of love for the Youths but for significantly ensuring that Imo Youths are leaders of today under his Shared Prosperity Government.
On a final note, I accord all Glory to the good Lord our creator for everything he has done, as I pray earnestly to Thee to grant us the abundant Grace to do that which is most pleasing in His sight and the sight of humanity now and always.
