Facts have emerged on the circumstances that led to the making of the “Hero of the Convention,” Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and how he ended his Presidential bid, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, despite being considered a favourite to win the primaries.
It was discovered that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Wazirin Adamawa had used his wide contacts to get Sokoto State stakeholders to petition the Northern Elders and compel them to force Tambuwal’s hand.
The petitioners insist that Tambuwal is incompetent, even in the discharge of his duties as Sokoto State Governor and so should not be saddled with a higher responsibility. Watch the video:
