Breaking: DG of Peter Obi Campaign Organisation Speaks on Labour Party Crisis

The Director General of Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe has taken to his social media to address the crisis rocking the Labour Party as it affects the Presidential candidate of the party.

Peter Obi joined Labour party, from the PDP, but it appears there’s a faction of Labour party already having a Presidential candidate which is now subject of litigation.

Dr. Okupe wrote:

RE: LABOUR PARTY CRISIS
I wish to reassure members of the Labour Party and the teeming supporters of HE Peter Obi nationwide and in the diaspora, that the leadership legal tussle in the Party is no cause for alarm. It is just like a storm in a tea cup.
We have had reasonable discussions with Mr Calustus Okafor today, and I can categorically say that he is a patriotic Nigerian and a man of peace who will not engage in any act that will hurt an Igbo brother.
I assure our Party members that these issues will be resolved amicably shortly.
