The Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma today, interacted with secondary school teachers while supervising the ongoing Physical Verification Exercise of all the teachers in the State.

Speaking at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square (RANKS), venue of the exercise, the Governor assured of immediate action on pending promotions and the payment of salary arrears for those due.

The ongoing Teachers’ Verification Exercise is aimed at automating the nominal roll of Teachers for the purpose of better managing issues related to staffing, promotion and prompt payment of entitlements. It is being embarked upon to resolve existing anomalies created by administrative negligence of the past administration.
