Bill for Establishment of Federal College of Health and Management Sciences Scales First Reading in the House of Representatives.
Today, Wednesday, 29 June, 2021, the bill for the creation of the Federal College of Health and Management Amaigbo in Nwangele LGA of Imo State has just passed first reading on the floor of the House Of Representatives.
This bill was presented by the member representing Nkwerre/Isu/Nwangele/Njaba Federal Constituency, Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo.
According to the Sponsor of the bill, creation of the institution will improve access to education for persons who insist on delving into health related courses.
Rep. Ozurigbo insisted that the school when established will further help in churning out the required manpower of specifically trained and equipped youths into the health sector.
Meanwhile, the House also accented for second reading a bill on the amendment of sections of the recently passed Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020 also sponsored by Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo .
Recall that this bill raised a lot of controversy when it was passed in 2020.
