The Federal Polytechnic Nekede Holds In-House Orientation Programme for All Newly Employed Staff
The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, on Thursday, 12th August, 2021, held a One day orientation and sensitization programme for about 500 (five hundred) newly employed staff of the institution.
The programme, which is in line with the policy of the Management of the Institution to continuously train and retrain staff, took place at the 1000 Capacity Auditorium, located within the Institution.
The Rector, Engr. Dr. Michael Chidiebere Arimanwa (FNSE), who declared the ceremony open, admonished the newly employed staff to be service oriented, do their best at all times and not disappoint themselves and the Governing Council who approved their appointments. He concluded by imploying them to strive to do well in their various responbilities, so as to contribute their own own quota to the upliftment of the institution.
Papers at the occasion were presented by the wife of the Rector, Engr. Dr. Mrs. Joan I. Arimanwa, Retired Commissioner of Police, Emma Ojukwu, the Registrar, Mrs E. C. Anuna, the Bursar, Mr. V. N. Anyanwuocha, and the Librarian, Dr. C. O. Enyia, Deputy Registrars and others.
