Students of St. Joseph Catholic Chaplaincy Imo State University, Owerri will on Sunday, the 26th of September, 2021, roll out the red carpets to honor their mentors and Ambassadors who have excelled in their various fields of endeavour.
Those to be honored include, Hon. Chike Okafor, Chairman of the occasion and Member Federal House Of Representatives, Barr. Okey Ozumba, National President IMSU Alumni Association, Barr. Kenneth Udeze, National Chairman, Action Alliance Political Party and Mazi Ugochukwu Onyejiuto Esq, Onowu Isiokpo kingdom.
Others are: Rotarian Kelechi Anyanwu, PHF, CEO Evettte Schools and Lady Nkechi Eberendu, CEO Pleasant Kids Schools.
The rest are: Mrs. Amara Agbim, Founder Nanny Academy, Mr Nonso Okoroama, a distinguished public servant, Mrs. Ogechi Ibeh, PHF, Procurement Officer, PRODA, Dr. Henry Ogu, Banking guru, amongst others.
According to the Chairman of the Harvest Central Planning Committee of the Chaplaincy, Ik Ogbonna, part of the harvest program is for the Ambassadors to mentor the students and inspire them to greatness. He said “the idea is that the mentees have the unique experience of being IMSU graduates and have gone ahead to excel in their various pursuits in life and as such are in good position to share their experiences with the students, to motivate them.”
He congratulated the award recipients urging them to continue in the path of greatness.
