GOVERNOR HOPE UZODIMMA’S DEVOTION TO HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR IMOLITES

With a total landmass of 5,530km² and a population of over 5,000,000, a major challenge facing the good people of Imo State would be accessible and affordable healthcare services especially at the remote rural areas.

During his review of the infrastructural deficits bedeviling the State upon resumption of Office, His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma expressed dismay at the deplorable condition of the few available Healthcare facilities across the State.

To ameliorate the difficulties experienced in accessing quality and affordable healthcare services, Governor launched the Mobile Clinic and immediately renovated few State Hospitals to immediately contain the global pandemic the surfaced then.

In fulfillment of his devotion, His Excellency has recently approved the renovation and equipping of 305 Healthcare Centers, implying one per every ward in the State. What’s most amazing about this developmental move by His Excellency, is the projected completion of these facilities before the yuletide season.

His Excellency has shown sufficient commitment in the provision of accessible and affordable healthcare services to the people of Imo State and in complement to this, his mandate to ISOPADEC has seen the construction of over 15 Healthcare Centers across three member Local Government Areas, in the first instance.

Our continued support to the 3R Government remains the catalyst to the development of our dear Imo State.
