When, last month, Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor distributed empowerment support to Ihitte-Uboma youths, it immediately spurred the Youths from the other two LGAs, Ehime-Mbano and Obowo to say, “emee nwata ka emere ibe ya, obi adi ya mma” and the banker turned legislator gave his word, that the goodies will go round.

…Distributes Motorbikes, Grinding Machines and Sewing Machines To Umuezeala Youths
The member representing Okigwe South federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chike Okafor has fulfilled the promises he made to members of Umuezeala Youth Forum as he provided six motorbikes, seven grinding machines and seven sewing machines shared among identifiable youths in the group who thanked him for the gesture.
In his introductory address, Hon.Emeka Nkume, coordinator of the federal lawmaker in Ehime Mbano LGA confirmed that the items were provided at the right time and serves as an indication that he still has the the interest youths of Umuezeala at heart.
He further explained that Dcn Chike Okafor is not only using it as a mark of appreciation to the youth but it is equally a putting efforts to fulfill all his promises not just to Umuezeala but to the entire Ehime Mbano.
He emphasized that the Federal Lawmaker faced some challenges in his second outing yet was able to attract numerous developmental and empowerment projects to Okigwe South. He further assured the members of the youth group that more packages are in the pipeline as he charged the benefitiaries to try as much as they could to make a living through the items they received.
While presenting the items, Rt.Hon.Chike Okafor who was represented by Chief Charles Uwadoka(Igwe Nkwu) explained that the exercise is not the only package that would come from the Lawmaker. He revealed that Dcn Chike Okafor have mapped out great empowerment programmes stressing that Umuezeala youths will always be captured because his Principal will never disappoint them.
He pleaded with the youths to be law abiding citizens and stand out as worthy Ambassadors of their communities. He prayed that God would use the motorbikes, grinding machines and sewing machines as a platform for progress and prosperity.
In his remarks, Barr. CC Duru, a notable political leader in Umuezeala described the action as commendable as he submitted that all the benefitiaries are worthy youths of the ward who worked hard to deserve it.
He expended his words of appreciation to him and he called on the Prince of Umuoke Kingdom to always respond whenever he is called.
President of Umuezeala youth forum Amb Chukwuneye Iwueze said Umuezeala youth won’t stop loving and supporting Rt.Hon. Chike Okafor. On behalf of the benefitiaries he thanked the donor as submitted that he would enjoy their total support in all his political moves and aspirations.
Chief Humphrey Oforegbu the Coordinator of DECOCO in Umuezeala Ward gave a vote of thanks, praying for God’s blessings upon Rt.Hon.Okafor and his team.
